Jim helped me move a pair of vintage high-end, heavy, and large, yet delicate speakers from a storage room to my living room. Given the weight and size of the speakers, and the fact that they can no longer be purchased, I would not trust anyone but Jim to help me move them (this is not the first time Jim helps me). The move went without a hitch. Jim was punctual, efficient, and careful. Jim is the first person I would call when I need help with any move. Thanks Jim!

We had Jim help us with moving furniture around in our home . He was very easy going and very helpful figuring how best to move our very heavy furniture . He was very positive and got our furniture in some tight spaces . If you are looking for someone very professional and extremely helpful call Jim . Jim was beyond flexible with me! I had to switch up plans a couple times and he was very fast with responding to me regarding plans and timing. He was on time and helped me bring a sofa into my third-story apartment, which has pretty narrow stairways and doorways so he helped plan it out well too!! Very kind and very quick with responding! Highly recommend him for any of your jobs you might need--also he may even be able to help out last minute so don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks Jim!

Randomly got in touch with Jim through UHaul last year and he helped me unload about 20 boxes and some small furniture in about 30 minutes! Then I worked with him again to move from a 1 bed to a 2 bed apartment in new haven. His truck packing was impeccable- truly a work of art the way he fit everything so tightly - and just for a 10 min drive. It was beautiful! He is extremely professional, timely, and always keeps a positive attitude and smile. On top of all that he’s an extremely talented organizer, composer, and manager of moving. His experience with delicate maneuvering is always visible and he’s always thinking ahead and problem solving on the go like a true pro. Highly, highly recommend working with Jim!

Jim came highly recommended by a couple of friends and he did not disappoint. He handled my belongings with the greatest care, worked very efficiently, and threw in a good dose of humor making moving a little less miserable. His communication was crystal clear leading up to the move, putting me at ease and relieving much of the stress leading up to moving day. Jim is also a lot of fun to work with and brings great energy to the project.

Jim helped us move in without any stress. We are new to the area, moving in on a short notice; with my Pod arriving mid-morning on my first day at a new job, which meant my parents would have to unload on their own. To further complicate matters we did not know when exactly the Pod would arrive! Jim reassured me that he would be on site within 10 minutes once the Pod arrived.

And, he kept his word, arrived on time; and helped my parents execute the unloading operation - all the way to the second floor! He was very considerate and did most of the heavy lifting, whilst still making them feel that it was a team project!

I highly recommend his services.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Jim helped me through a project that has lasted for 9 months! After moving to AZ from CT I had to get boxes out of one space to another, then to UPS .. then back to storage because I refused to pay their prices. From there he packed each box and brought it to USPS one at a time until my storage space was empty. AND he even managed the space, held the keys and was sole manager of all my things the entire time. All our communication was done via text, email and once by phone and he always responded quickly and thoroughly and was always pleasant! It took a lot to put my trust in a person to do this task but I'm so glad I did. Jim was always helpful, honest, upfront, communicative, fair and fast. I never worried once about my items or costs or anything. I can't recommend him highly enough. Jim, you saved so much hassle for me in addition to so many of my precious personal items. I wish I could find more for you to do as it was such a pleasure to work with you! Here's to "J&J Logistics" (as we affectionately called this project)! I raise my coffee mug to you and say thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have hired Jim twice now to assist me in helping to move my son in New Haven. Efforts involved loading and unloading a 10 ft U-Haul truck. Each time Jim has been extremely valuable, more than “pulling his own weight”, making the move go much easier. Performing the move – up and down the stairs that you find in so many places in New Haven – would be difficult / impossible without Jim’s help. I would highly recommend his services.

I’ve used Jim’s services a few times to empty an apartment, remove carpeting, help install cabinets. He is always on time and works very hard and efficiently. I’ve used him to do jobs with me and I’ve had him work independently, never a problem and always finishes sooner than expected. His service is worth every penny when you need a helping hand.
